INSTACOAT™ SMART

INSTACOAT™ SMART is a unique film coating system that offers a pearlescent colour to the product. The shine and gloss effects of INSTACOAT™ SMART stand out from the routinely used colours in pharma and food industries. It is formulated using mica based Candurin® (trade mark of Merck KGaA) pigments. A variety of shades is already available and additional colours can be readily created to meet the specific requirements. It gives a special effect coating that has an enhanced aesthetic appeal. It can be used with variety of solvent systems such as organic solvents, hydro-alcoholic systems and aqueous systems. It can be used on Pharmaceutical, Nutracetuical, Ayurvedic, Herbal tablets as well as confectionary products

INSTACOAT™ SMART SE

INSTACOAT™ SMART SE is a variant of INSTACOAT™ SMART, in that it is developed to be coated on film coated tablets. It gives a unique identification to the product by imparting pearlescent effect to the tablet which is difficult to copy. This enhances the brand identity and brand appeal making the product counterfeiting-proof. It gives a sparkling effect to the tablet.

The coating parameters, reconstitution levels and solvents are similar to those used for INSTACOAT™ SMART.
